We view each patient as a unique individual, and tailor each treatment to your child’s specific needs. Angie M.
is the office manager and has worked with Rix Pediatric Dentistry since 1999. She has a BA degree from Shorter College. She is married and has one son. She enjoys spending time with her family, traveling and reading.
She thinks the best thing about her job is the loving, caring atmosphere.
Julie
is a Schedule Coordinator and has been with Rix Pediatric Dentistry since 1996. She is married and has a daughter, Meg, and a son, Wes. She enjoys spending time with her family.
She thinks the best things about her job are the friendships and the Christian atmosphere.
Tabby
has been a full-time hygienist for Rix Pediatric Dentistry since July 1998. She enjoys working with children and considers this a “calling”, not just a job. She has two children. TJ is currently at KSU. Brenlee is at Georgia Highlands. When not at work, she enjoys church, working out and spending time with family and friends.
She is also a curious DIY-er who loves to try new projects.
April
is a dental hygienist. She graduated from the Medical College of Georgia in June 1998 and began working with Dr. Rix upon graduation. She feels blessed to have found not only a job, but a second family to spend each day with.
She is married to Jason and has three boys. In her “spare” time, she enjoys going to the gym, hiking, working in the yard (even if she can’t keep a fake plant alive). She attends Flint Hill Baptist Church where she enjoys working with the babies.
She says she loves working at Rix Pediatric Dentistry. There is never a dull moment working with children.
Angie J.
is a dental/surgical assistant. She has worked with Rix Pediatric Dentistry since 1999. She is certified in oral radiography and expanded duties. She has a son, Chase and a daughter, McKenna. She enjoys spending time with her family and friends. She is active with her church. She loves music, movies and the beach.
She loves working at Rix Pediatric Dentistry because of the supportive family atmosphere and working with children, helping to make their dental experience fun and stress free.
Lisa
is a Dental/Surgical Assistant. She joined Rix Pediatric Dentistry in January 2017. She received her degree in Dental Hygiene and her certification in Dental Assisting from CSCC. She practiced dental hygiene 27 years in Alabama. After retiring from hygiene, Lisa’s love for dentistry led her to pursue the assisting aspect of dentistry.
When not at work you will find Lisa and her husband spending time with her family, coaching volleyball, or at Walt Disney World. Lisa knew at the age of 13 that dentistry was her calling. She is blessed to have found a home at Rix Pediatric Dentistry where she can continue her love of dentistry with her love for children.
Marcia
Congrats on retirement after 30 amazing years!
is a dental/surgical assistant and has worked with Rix Pediatric Dentistry since the practice opened in 1993. She is certified in oral radiography and expanded duties. She has been married for 42 years, has two wonderful children and two amazing grandsons.
Marcia is a certified CPR Instructor and a First Responder/Search and Rescue Member of the Floyd County Sheriff’s Office. For 25+ years, Marcia has been a State Side / Overseas Missionary. She is the bagpiper for the Gordon County Sheriff’s Department. She is currently a Georgia High School Basketball, Volleyball, Fast Pitch Softball Official as well as an umpire for Slow Pitch Softball. Marcia is also a quilter and has made hundreds of memory and T-shirt quilts for customers.
